Coach Lutz's style of play is based on shooting 3's, changing defenses, dictating tempo, and getting to the foul line. In this DVD, Coach Lutz presents his set play offense, which is designed to shoot 3's and get fouled. For Lutz, the best offensive players should get most of the shots. By running sets, the coach can dictate who takes most of the shots. Running sets in transition is also a great way to score and is featured here. Sets plays from stacks are popular with Lutz. On many plays, a common action is a hard cross screen to free a teammate under the basket. Several pressure entries are included when facing tough man-to-man defense. Also featured are quick hit plays that produce good shots early in the shot clock. Other plays discussed are the Box Series, the Ball Screen sets and the 1-4 Series. Each set play has alternative looks that make the plays very versatile. Scoring options in the full and half court will allow your players more weapons on the offensive end of the floor and score more points.

Here's your chance to apply maximum pressure on your opponent's defense before they get set. Coach Lutz shows you how to score from out of bounds, early offense or in half court sets. Man-to-man and zone quick hitters will provide a balanced attack regardless of the defensive alignment. Getting into gaps, skip passing and lobs are just a few of the scoring plays against the zone. Lutz's incorporates player strengths to add to the effectiveness of each play. Lutz shares nine quick striking plays in transition and from half court sets. Each play is designed to put players in specific scoring areas on the floor where they can be effective. By plugging each of your players into these quick scoring plays you will increase your point totals and increase offensive ownership.
